Many thanks to our wonderful colleagues, the HPDT data entry operators!

Two years ago, on November 1st, eight data entry operators started the difficult task of transcribing the data from parish registers into the database. We learned together how to do it, we spent a lot of time checking and re-checking the procedures, we grew up together. Due to their professionalism, due to their skills and involvement we are able to count more than 350.000 individuals into the database. Unfortunately, today is that last day of the contract for our colleagues but we truly believe that we`ll be able to find financial resources to continue the project of building the Transylvanian database. Let’s see the HPDT as a pilot project and we promise that we’ll do our best to transform this research instrument into a national resource!
