HPDT researchers at ESSHC Conference, Valencia, 29.03-2.04.2016
During 29.03-2.04.2016 in Valencia, Luminița Dumănescu, Daniela Mârza and Mihaela Hărăguş presented a paper on “New Data on Infant Mortality in Transylvania in the 19th Century based on HPDT (extracts from the Population Database of Historical Transylvania)”, at the Xth edition of the international conference “European Social Science History”, organized by the International Institute of Social History, of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.
The HPDT researchers had the opportunity to present the latest news from the database, in the presence of some of the most internationally renowned specialists in the field.
Also, the partnership of HPDT (UBB and the University of Tromso, Norway) organized the panel ”Infant Mortality Eastern: Religion, Ethnicity”.
